OTP banka to sponsor of the Šibenik Fortress of Culture

OTP banka and Tvrđava kulture (Fortress of Culture) Public Institution signed a sponsorship agreement at St Michel’s Fortress in Šibenik today, thus marking the beginning of a new story of enticing and developing of the cultural life of the town and the local community, this time with support of the partner that believes that fostering cultural events constitutes an important aspect of its social footprint. 

On behalf of Tvrđava culture, the Agreement was signed by Gorana Barišić Bačelić, and on behalf of OTP banka by Slaven Celić, Board member. 

“We all take pride in the fact that Šibenik has become such a happening place in recent years. The Fortress of Culture, institution that takes care of the wonderfully reconstructed fortresses where the rich cultural heritage of Šibenik and the culture and entertainment programmes come together and lure audience and visitors from all over the country, certainly represents one of the shiniest examples in the recent history of the City of Šibenik. As a company doing business in this town, we are proud to be a part of this story of success. Donating over half a million kunas to the Paediatric Ward of the Šibenik General Hospital through our Round Up donation scheme at the beginning of the year, we proved that we are not here only to reach our business objectives, but rather to take part in other aspects of life in the City of Šibenik.  Appreciating everything that this institution has done on promoting of the town, the partnership with the Fortress of Culture was a logical step to take. We certainly wish to play an active part in the life of the town going forward, and we would like to do it not only by providing the best possible financial services to our retail and corporate customers here, but also supporting the most significant events in its social life”, said Slaven Celić on the occasion of signing of the Sponsorship Agreement.

Signing the Agreement, both parties asserted their wish to make this cooperation a long-term one, to mutual satisfaction. In line with its policy of developing deep relations with all local communities it operates in, OTP banka supports and encourages various social initiatives and activities, which are found aplenty in Tvrđava kulture, and hopefully will be even more abundant thanks to the newly provided support.
