Telephone banking provides an overview of costs and card information via answering machine or the Contact Centre.
The SMS info service provides the options of SMS control of bank card use and SMS replies to your inquiries.
- SMS control of bank cards
When your credit card is used, the Bank will notify you immediately by sending an automatic SMS containing the information about the authorisation of a cash withdrawal transaction at an ATM or payment of goods at a point of sale. This way you can efficiently control own expenses, but also detect possible unauthorised usage of your card in the shortest time possible.
- SMS at request (interactive SMS)
This service provides access to information at own SMS request. Just send an SMS request if you urgently require information about the turnover on your accounts, applicable exchange rate, authorised and current limits on your credit cards, balance of your units in investment funds, number of unused cheques, information on your time deposits, IBAN, or if you are interested in the general data about the Bank.
Interest paid on revolving credit
The interest on the revolving credit is accrued for the utilised revolving credit amount only.
Interest is not accrued for the purchases made in the current accounting period, i.e. the period lasting one month, between two revolving credit accounting dates (the last and the upcoming one).
Interest on cash withdrawals is accrued from the date such transaction has been recorded in the Bank until the day it is settled.
The amount of accrued interest is reported in the itemised invoice information and is fully included into the minimum revolving credit amount to be repaid monthly.
According to EU Regulation 518/2019, the cardholders have insight into the calculation of the amount to be debited in the card currency in case of the transactions they made at cross-border retailers (including ATMs and cash dispensing machines) from the European Economic Area (EEA) and in foreign currencies from EEA, the authorisation for which is received by the Bank, and can compare it against the exchange rate of the European Central Bank (ECB). The exchange rate value date applicable upon posting will be the transaction date, that is, the date the bank records the financial transaction.
