Long-term partnership and cooperation between HNK Hajduk and OTP banka will be extended for another two years. A signing ceremony was held in the White Lounge on the Poljud stadium where the agreement was signed by the president of the Board of HNK Hajduk, Lukša Jakobušić, and Board member of OTP banka, Zvonimir Akrap. Ivan Matan, member of the Board of HNK Hajduk, and Silvija Bareša, director of the Corporate Communications at OTP banka attended the ceremony.
The man at the helm of the „Whites“ was far from shy in expressing his satisfaction with the renewed cooperation and the fact that the club would retain its long-lasting sponsor.
- OTP has been our longest running sponsor. Even though it may seem our negotiations took a bit longer than expected, we wanted to bring our cooperation to a slightly higher level. I am glad we signed the agreement for a two-year period, and that all our fans will benefit from the special packages that OTP will put together which, by extension, means Hajduk will benefit as well. We are looking forward to continuing our cooperation, the OTP logo will remain on the jersey, on the sleeve to be specific. We are quite selective in the matter of the logos that are featured on our jersey. – those were the words of the president Jakobušić.
Hajduk and OTP banka are working on a joint project where OTP banka will present a new product for fans. Public will be informed of the product once all the details of the product are finalised.
- OTP banka is proud to be supporting many traditions across Croatia, in all the regions in which we operate. Split, and Dalmatia, being our domicile region, have always held a special place both in our business ventures and plans, as well as in the corporate social governance segment with which we wish to contribute to positive developments in the society. A partnership with the City of Split, as well as with all its significant institutions has always been in the focus of the bank that has been supporting Hajduk for decades now. And we all know that Hajduk and Split are inextricably intertwined. We are proud to be continuing this partnership, and look forward to all sporting achievements of the club, whereas I, as a true fan of Hajduk, can feel my heart skip a beat whenever I see this year's table – Zvonimir Akrap said upon signing the agreement.
The signing ceremony was attended also by the first team of the Whites, midfielder Filip Krovinović, and Grego Lovrencsics, right winger of the Whites, who also happens to be on the Hungary national team.
