OTP banka and the Šibenik Fortress of Culture to continue their cooperation

The partnership of OTP banka and the Public Institution of Šibenik Fortress of Culture commenced three years ago, only to continue today by signing a sponsorship agreement. The agreement was signed in the Barone Fortress in Šibenik by Bruno Biuk, member of the Board, on behalf of OTP banka and by Gorana Barišić Bačelić, director, on behalf of the Fortress of Culture.

“After three years of successful cooperation, I am happy to sign a new cooperation agreement on behalf of OTP banka. I would like to congratulate to the Fortress of Culture on the fantastic job they do at all their venues. We could not be more proud to have become a part of such extraordinary story. Here, on the rocky shores of Šibenik, we combine our heritage with culture and entertainment, encouraging Croatian and foreign nationals alike to visit Šibenik. Wherever present, OTP banka is eager to share the life of the locals, whether by providing the best possible financial services to the private and business customers, or by supporting the major social events. The Šibenik Fortress of Culture has not only enriched the lives of the locals, but its work echoes on a much larger scale.“ said Bruno Biuk after signing of the agreement.

Gorana Barišić Bačelić, director of the Šibenik Fortress of Culture also expressed her satisfaction with continuation of the successful cooperation.

“We are pleased to continue the cooperation with our trusted partner OTP banka.  Perseverance, enthusiasm and commitment  exhibited by our team positioned us as an important stakeholder in the field of culture and creativity, and we are grateful to OTP banka for recognising this fact and showing their trust. The eleventh concert season is already in full swing on St Michael’s Fortress, whilst the very place at which we are signing this agreement today, our Barone Fortress, is the home of an open-air cinema and a renown and popular jazz venue. Our other venues are also seen as cultural hotspots, hosting a variety of events. To keep up the momentum, we need support of a strong partner like OTP,” said the director of the Fortress of Culture on this occasion.   

The partnership of OTP banka and the Public Institution of Šibenik Fortress of Culture commenced in 2021, when OTP recognised the Fortress of Culture as one of the most shining examples of progress in Šibenik. Presently, with Fortress of Culture managing five venues: St Michael’s Fortress, Barone Fortress, St John’s Fortress, Arsen’s House of Art and Zlarin Coral Centre, the partnership with OTP banka is deeply valued.
