37 projects chosen following a tender of OTP banka
As a part of its donation scheme called “Green light to … better society“, OTP banka invited the tender for donation requests and chose 37 projects among which it will distribute the total of HRK 500,000.
This is the ninth consecutive year that OTP banka d.d. has been inviting tenders for donation requests for projects within four different categories: the young, education and science; protection of cultural, historic and traditional heritage and environmental protection; humanitarian projects and sports. We received several hundred applications from all over Croatia, out of which our commission chose 37 projects focusing on improvement of the quality of life in the relevant communities.
Over the last nine years OTP banka d.d. has awarded just short of four million kunas and helped in the implementation of almost 400 quality projects critical for the development of the related communities and the society as a whole.
In 2020 the donations were granted to the following associations, clubs and institutions registered in the Republic of Croatia:
In the category of the young, education and science: Elementary School Šime Budinić from Zadar, Elementary School Vladimir Nazor from Potpićan, Croatian Mountain and Rescue Service, Višnjan Kindergarten, and the Zadar City Library.
In the category of historic and traditional heritage and environmental protection: City Youth Theatre Split, Academy of Arts and Culture Osijek, Prokultura – association from Split, Folklore Ensemble Linđo, Moreška Society for Arts and Culture from Korčula, Mountaineering Society "Mosor", Dubrovnik Symphonic Orchestra, Majorettes of Turopolje from Velika Gorica, Association Klapa Armorin from Zagreb, Folklore Ensemble Bilje, Voluntary Firefighting Brigade Klis, and Krka Rowing Club from Šibenik.
In the category of humanitarian projects: “Rezervat Lokrum“ public institution, TOMS association of persons with disabilities, Split 2020 tennis club for persons with disabilities, Down-21 association from Split, Sveti Fabijan association from Podstrana, Voluntary Firefighting Brigade from Podstrana and Centre for Community Services from Zagreb – Dugave.
In the category of sport: Volleyball Club Ribola Kaštela, Gymnastics Club Flik Šenkovec, Handball Club Petason Vranjic, Women’s Handball Club Osijek, Rowing Club Jadran Zadar, football clubs from Župa dubrovačka, Dugopolje and Žrnovo, Water Polo Club Solaris, "Agram" Athletics Club of the persons with disabilities from Zagreb, Uskok Sailing Club from Zadar, and Bilje Handball Club.
