OTP banka's volunteer club pays another visit to the children in the SOS Children's Village Lekenik

OTP banka has once again shown its commitment to social responsibility and support to local communities. A total of 40 colleagues from OTP banka participated in the volunteer action held on May 28 in SOS Children's Village Lekenik. At the end of this commendable campaign, the member of the Board of OTP Bank, Mr Nikola Mikša, handed over a significant donation in the amount of EUR 15,000 to the SOS Children's Village Croatia Association, which has been providing a caring home for children without proper parental care for 32 years in two SOS Children's Villages in Lekenik and Ladimirevci.

Inside the SOS Children's Villages, children grow as a part of the SOS family, which provides them the adequate care that every child deserves. OTP banka continuously invests efforts to contribute to positive changes in society, especially by supporting the most sensitive groups, children. This volunteer action and donation are part of OTP banka’s broader strategy aimed at helping children without adequate parental care, who need love, protection and a permanent home.

Through the years of this valuable cooperation, OTP banka volunteers participated in various activities, and this year they tried their hand at painting of walls, but not for the first time. An already well-established organization and good will are all that is needed to get the job done, and everything to please those happy faces that are the main reason for their visit.

At the end of the volunteer campaign, Mr Nikola Mikša, a member of the Board of OTP banka, handed over a donation check in the amount of EUR 15,000 euros, and said: "It is a great honour and pleasure for us to be able to support the work of SOS Children's Village Lekenik. This donation will enable further improvement of the programs and services that SOS children's village provides, ensuring better conditions for children to grow up and develop. Our commitment to social responsibility is not only reflected in financial support, but also in the volunteer work of our employees who are always ready to set aside their time and energy to help those who need it most. The volunteers of OTP banka are ready to continue contributing to the betterment of the communities in which they live and work. We are proud of our colleagues who regularly participate in such actions, showing their commitment and generosity. In addition to continuous donation activities, OTP banka also plans further volunteer actions throughout Croatia, in order to support as many children and other needy groups as possible. This cooperation with SOS Children's Village is another proof that together we can achieve significant changes and ensure a better future for the youngest members of our society. OTP banka will continue its volunteer work, and once the campaigns in Split and today in Lekenik are completed, our volunteer campaign will continue in Zadar.
