Visa Business card holders travelling abroad can receive information and use a number of services when planning a trip and staying out of the country through the VISA Global Customer Assistance Service (GCAS). If you face unexpected difficulties whilst staying abroad, you can call GCAS telephone numbers for assistance in finding the necessary medical or legal aid.

Calculation of the debit amount within EEA region

According to EU Regulation 518/2019, the cardholders have insight into the calculation of the amount to be debited in the card currency in case of the transactions they made at cross-border retailers (including ATMs and cash dispensing machines) from the European Economic Area (EEA) and in foreign currencies from EEA, the authorisation for which is received by the Bank, and can compare it against the exchange rate of the European Central Bank (ECB).The exchange rate value date applicable upon posting will be the transaction date, that is, the date the bank receives the authorisation. Namely, the value date is determined based on the authorisation receipt date, which means that such transactions are recorded on the bank’s system once the authorisation has been received (for other transactions it transpires that they are recorded once the related financial transactions have been received).

Court’s resolution confirming the customer’s compliance with the Companies Act
Articles of association or deed of foundation
Signature specimen
Notification on classification
Information on beneficiary owners
Statement on related parties
BON 1 and BON 2 reports (not older than 10 days)
Financial reports (balance sheet and profit and loss account) for the last two years
certified by the Tax Authority
the last quarterly financial statement (statistical report) certified by FINA (specifying individual items of the P&L account)
Cash flow
Proof of settled taxes and contributions, issued by the Tax Authority

For the small business owners:

Proof of registering into the register of small businesses
Small business licence
Signature specimen
Information on beneficiary owners
Statement on related parties
Tax certificates for the last two years, issued by the Tax Authority, and the proof of settled taxes and contributions for the last year, issued by the Tax Authority
Copy of the last page of receipts and outlays for the last two years and for the last quarter
List of fixed assets as at 31st December of the preceding year
BON 2 of other banks (not older than 10 days)
Statement on borrowings from other banks
Written report on the operations of the small business

Insurance

Do business and travel safely - insured by Groupama osiguranje

A special agreement concluded between OTP banka and the insurance company Groupama osiguranje provides for the following benefits available to the Visa Business cardholders:

Insurance against accidents on all journeys paid for by the Visa Business Gold card, as follows:

- insurance coverage for documents permanently lost or stolen in air transport
- insurance coverage for luggage delayed or lost in air transport
- insurance for delayed flights, canceled flight or inability to board due to rebooking

The right to such coverage from Groupama osiguranje can be exercised by every cardholder who reports such a case to OTP banka.
